CLASSIC  POEMS@SUNLIGHT

As someone who likes writing and reading poetry, one's education would be severely limited if one believed that the sum total of what's there to learn about poetry is what one himself produces. That's where contributions to this site become critical- as does an understanding of some of the great poets of our time, and of days gone by. This section is hardly an attempt to provide an exhaustive list of the great poets, but merely a random collection of some poems that have stuck in my mind over the years. These are provided here purely for your reading pleasure, and to remind me of some of my all time favourites.

When I have Fears that I May Cease to Be by John Keats
A Dream Within a Dream by Edgar Allan Poe
Miracles by Walt Whitman
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
All You Who Sleep Tonight by Vikram Seth
O Me! O Life! by Walt Whitman
An Irish Airman Foresees his Death by W.B Yeats
If by Rudyard Kipling
