THE DREADFUL BEYOND

We look at ourselves today, and take our lives for granted.

But someday we'll all go to the dreadful beyond.

It may be in the future, a long long time from now.

It could be tomorrow night at dawn.

      

For there is no given time for death to come.

Whether or not you want it, there is no way to stop it.

Young children will say, why father why?

And he'll say back to them, some day we all must die.
