Between so many people,

I'm alone, a loner.

When left with you alone,

I could march a procession.

A whole life spent with them,

I question my very existence.

A moment shared with you,

I find cause to live again.

Sighting the goal with them in tow,

I tend to feel I have lost my way.

A step with you on the wrong way though,

I can pave a new path of hope.

With them in happy times,

Alone I shed a tear.

With you in sorrow,

At least we're together.

My joy knows no bounds when you're there,

My time stands still as we sway beside.

My tears then smiles, my smiles laughter,

My joy is happiness, happiness eternal bliss.
